Sustainability Director Appointed

We are very pleased to announce that Dr Julieanna Powell-Turner will be joining us as Sustainability Director from 30th September 2016.

Julieanna is a leading academic and researcher with over 16 years UK and overseas experience. Her research is focussed on sustainability around material security and the associated risks and vulnerabilities in the supply chain, with an emphasis on products and services in a sustainable supply network.

Julieanna has worked as an academic for Cranfield University since 2006, working as a Head of Environmental Science, Senior Lecturer and Course Director supporting PhD and MSc students whilst researching the challenges, vulnerabilities and opportunities around sustainable supply networks. She has extensive experience with the MOD and previous work within local government in terms of waste strategy and delivery. With further experience as a Lead Auditor for ISO14001 / OHSAS18001 and Specialist Environmental and Energy Advisor, Julieanna will be supporting both the Credibly Green and Frith Resource Management teams. Her role will include accessing new markets for both teams, supporting and leading on projects in areas surrounding sustainable supply chains, the circular economy, and resource management of raw materials.

This is an exciting opportunity, in a period of growth for both FRM and Credibly Green. Julieanna joins Cath, our latest new member, with more news on a further new recruit to follow shortly!
